I have a new mantra. It is, “Everything Makes Sense.”
I use this whenever I am trying to figure something out that appears to be completely incomprehensible, like .. Japanese (at times), or Emacs Lisp. It’s a good mantra. It helps me out, because when you think about it real hard, you realize it’s gotta be true. Everything Makes Sense. If it didn’t make sense it would be annihilated, replaced. This is sort of how Darwin survives the technological era and beyond. Natural selection and all that. If something doesn’t make sense, it will be undone and something that does make sense will replace it.
