So I tried it out. It works under linux, to my great surprise, and it doesn’t seem to take any performance drops. Aside from a few glitches (can’t go into “Video Options”, or the game locks up for example, but that’s what manually editing the config file is for 
) it’s actually working flawlessly.
I totally don’t have time for it in reality, but it was fun giving it a short ride on a trial account. In case I do decide to start playing “for real” though, which realm(s) are people on?

Disagree. I play WoW, have a fantastic career, a full social life and am super happy.
I think some people are just prone to being morons, no matter what activities they take on.

It expires on Sunday. I made a char Dweïa (i with two dots over it — not sure if you can even do those on US kbds) on Argent Dawn yesterday but you weren’t around. I added your char to my friends list anyway.
Seems I can’t actually play with you though. It’s doubtful whether I can afford one key (time&moneywise), and affording two is totally out of the question. Annoying that they did things that way. :/
I think WoW is a great outlet for a moron, rather than a moron factory, yeah.
Not to say I’m not a moron — I can totally see myself picking WoW over homework 7 days a week, but I’m an adult, I can comprehend self-destruction when I face it.
I usually don’t get online till 10pm your time (5pm EDT). I was only on for a couple hours last night before logging to watch some TV. But I’ll look for you over the next couple days!

He’s a lvl 70 druid over in Hammer…something. But he’s made a Barrduc (Barduc, Barduk, and Barduck were all taken!? Did some old MV players get inspired or something?

I had seriously considered trying out WoW at one point, but I would have to get off my tail and upgrade my computers to be able to run it smoothly. Glad you were able to try it
