Tomas~> Your email address defines if you're writing spam or not. Use your real one the next time, mate. (I am the only one who can see it.) ;)

Oh, and world domination is only a few iterations away...!

Absolutely fascinating. But...

And then it struck me that the critters have an in-born desire to reproduce, but they did not have a desire to NOT reproduce, when reproducing was a bad idea (when the race in question is overpopulated).

What percentile of intellect/survival instinct do you give them to determine whether or not to reproduce when there is already overpopulation? The only thing I would say that could really jade your results would be if you get it at 100% probability that they will stop reproducing when it is wise to do so. Human beings aren't so intelligent most of the time, as we see in places all over the world that are grossly overpopulated right now, and still have massive birth rates each year. Of course, death rate increases in those societies, but its not always enough to balance.

Fascinating though. I'd love to see what you do with it!

A bit interesting to read I must say... Sounds like you're building your own little Matrix. Give me a call when you're reaching world domination :)
