JLPT results.

I failed, in the end. I got 65%, where 70% is the requirement. Oh well, I guess I have to study seriously for December, eh. :)

Although not a pass, I think you should be happy with that result! After all it had been just seven months between taking JLPT2 and JLPT1, so it’s still a bloody good outcome.

At least you can be pretty assured of a pass come December. :-)

This is very true. In fact, as I think I said in the comments of the previous post, I was pretty sure I would FAIL, but just not sure by how much. I ended up getting 60% on vocab, 60% (!!!!!!!!) on listening, and 70% on reading comprehension. I think it’s the first time ever that I scored the highest on reading, but then again, I DID feel that the reading part was way easier than in previous tests, and the listening part was WAAAAAY harder than it was in previous tests. Believing I would be able to hit 80% or so in listening, I must say this was a big surprise.

As for December, yeah, presuming they don’t beef up the reading TOO much due to the high scores for everyone (presumably) in July, I should pass it with flying colors. Presuming I actually get to studying properly.

I’m sorry that you failed! But find it amazing that you’re doing so well in general. I hope you’re feeling confident about passing in December!

Thanks Annie! :) Yeah, I feel fairly confident, but I got a kick in the behind as well, so it’s time to really pick up studying, which I kind of dropped somewhere back right after I took the grade 2 test last December. Without overdoing things, of course… :P

Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll nail it. It’s not that difficult anyway, just focus on studying the right things and do alot of old tests. Just 5 more percents.. Ganbare!!

Ok. so now it must be seppuku time for you? :P
